Rising through the ranks with finesse and determination, Matthew ascended to the esteemed position of Lead HVAC Technician.
His tenure at this local HVAC company was marked by notable contributions to the company's growth, where his expertise and dedication left an indelible mark on every project he touched. Now, as the driving force behind Mighty Air Techs, Matthew brings forth a wealth of experience, coupled with an unyielding commitment to providing unparalleled service to his community. With Matthew's visionary leadership guiding the way, Mighty Air Techs stands poised to redefine the very standards of HVAC excellence, not just in Victoria, but beyond its borders, illuminating the path towards a future of comfort and innovation for all.
Bethany Hernandez
The Heart of Mighty Air Techs
Bethany is the strategic force and creative soul behind Mighty Air Techs. As co-owner, she leads the charge on all things operations, branding, and customer experience. Whether she’s launching a new service, organizing community giveaways, or managing the daily details that keep the business humming—Bethany does it all with heart, hustle, and an eye for growth. Before helping build Mighty Air Techs, Bethany had a powerhouse career in marketing and sales. At just 19 years old, she became a store manager at AT&T, helping open multiple locations and train incoming teams.
Over the course of seven years, she mastered leadership, customer service, and team development. From there, she transitioned into digital marketing—spending the next five years helping small businesses grow by harnessing the power of social media and online branding. That experience now fuels everything she brings to the Mighty brand. From heartfelt storytelling to eye-catching campaigns, Bethany is on a mission to make HVAC feel a little more human and a lot more local.
She’s also the proud wife of Mighty’s founder, Matthew, and mom to their newest “Mighty” team member, Milo Rey. Together, they’re building a legacy rooted in family, transparency, and top-notch service. Bethany believes that every customer deserves to feel seen, heard, and taken care of—and she brings that belief to life in every interaction.
“This business is personal to us,” she says. “And we’re doing everything we can to make a lasting difference in our community—one home at a time.”
Brian Reyes
HVAC Apprentice
Brian is proud to be the very first hire at Mighty Air Techs, and he’s been a key part of the team since day one. As an HVAC apprentice, Brian has shown incredible dedication, a strong work ethic, and a constant willingness to learn and grow in his trade.
What Brian loves most about working at Mighty Air Techs is the family atmosphere. “Literally—it is family,” he says, “but even beyond that, most of us treat each other like family.” That tight-knit culture has fueled his passion for the work and his pride in being part of something bigger than just a job.
Outside of work, Brian is a full-time dad to three amazing kids: Brian Jr., Elia, and Araceli. On his days off, you’ll find him spending quality time with them—whether it’s fishing, swimming, or cheering them on at sports activities. Those moments mean the world to him and help recharge his energy for the week ahead.
Brian continues to grow with the company, and we’re grateful for the heart, humor, and hustle he brings to the Mighty Air Techs team every day.
Nicholas Hand
HVAC Technician
Nicholas joined the Mighty Air Techs team ready to make an impact—and that’s exactly what he’s done. Originally from Georgia, Nick brings curiosity, creativity, and a strong work ethic to every job, especially when it comes to ductwork, which he says gives him a great sense of accomplishment when it all comes together just right.
As one of seven siblings, including twin brothers, and one sister, Nick is no stranger to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. He’s always been hands-on, with a passion for building and fixing things—whether it’s complex HVAC systems or gaming computers he tears apart and rebuilds just for fun.
Outside of work, Nick values family time—whether it’s going out to eat together or cheering on his brothers at basketball games. You’ll also find him skateboarding with friends when he’s off the clock. It’s that balance of family, fun, and teamwork that keeps him grounded and motivated.
When asked what keeps him going on tough days, Nick says it’s his coworkers. “They definitely help keep me motivated.” His advice to anyone getting into the trade? “Have a good teacher while you’re out on the job.” Wise words from someone who knows the value of learning by doing.
